Going To The Shop With My Friend.

kumusta on Wednesday I went to the shop with my friend Shikya. First we went to the shop and got a heap of lollies then we walked back to my house.We went inside but Shikya said she was scared of my brothers because my mum was not home yet.But I said to Shikya "Come on you can come inside". So she came inside and we went to my room.After that we went back outside and went to my friends house next door we played on my neighbours trampoline then we went on her monkey bars and played foot tag.well we were playing I asked My neighbour  if she would like some lollies. After that the neighbour  she wanted to come over to my house so I said OK because my mum said if you want your friend Emma to come over.So I said OK.

Show , Don’t Tell

I was running through a hot sandy world behind me was a lion roaring with his big long sharp teeth. My heart was beating as fast as someone could ever beat a drum one hundred times over and over again.I could not feel like taking another step.My feet were numb I had sand in my shoes the little pieces of sand felt like tiny pieces of glass underneath my feet.As the lion was roaring he was  getting closer I was trying to sprint faster and faster.As  I was running I nearly stumbled.I noticed as I was running i had my compass in my pocket I checked what way it was pointing it was pointing east but I wanted to get closer to north i'm not sure why though.I was coming up to a stop there in front of me  was a sandstorm my heart kept beating forever and ever.I was starving i got a tingle in my tummy.My face felt like it was in a microwave that's just how hot it felt.I kept getting sand in my eyes but I could not think of an idea that I could do to stop it.

Kawa of Care

 Kumusta in room 11 we have been learning about kawa of care. Kawa of care is treating your device well and not drink or eat around it.

I have made this drawing out of shapes.In this google drawing you can see there is a little girl keeping her food and drink away from her Chromebook.And this is the kawa of care.

Epic reading

Hello readers in class at reading after lunch we do reading on epic. On epic you can read books and some books read to you. You can also go up levels and you get achievements.So you should check this sight out and see what books you would like to read.

Hello here is a slide show of my vocabulary  in room 11.In room 11 we have our vocabulary words every week and we put them on a slide show and do writing also get a pitcher of what the words mean.We have two words every week for our vocabulary.

Scratch Jr-space game

Kumusta everyone.In room 11 we had a visitor named Emma she taught us how to create a game on scratch Jr.we had to delete our sprite that pops up when you get into the game.A sprite is a character.We had to debug our algorithm so mix it up a little.How we made the game was we went on to scratch jr,we got a rocket made the background black so it looked like space then got the little movements and also we got a moon and a planet and made it move with the movements.Here is a video of me playing it.

Play-date at my house

KIA Ora  today my friend Laura came over to my house so we could play together.We went in  my room and played games on our Chromebook then we went back to the living room and ate some fish n chips.After that we went outside and played a cop game.I was the cop and Laura was the robber then she stole something out of my playhouse in the backyard and ran around trying not to get caught.Laura was running and then i got her and took her to my swing set my swing was broken so Laura sat on the swing and pretended she was in jail.

The Present Story

Hello here is the present story we have been writing about in Room 11 i hope you enjoy it. 

In a small house after school in a gloomy dark living room a boy was playing a shooting game BANG, BA, BANG the light of the T.V was flashing in his eyes. Mum came in the house she said “sorry sweetie I got home so late i had to pick up something after work”Mum put down a cardboard box on the coffee table “mum the boy said quietly .the boy looked at the box but he was to engrossed in his video game he did not care about anything else but his .Mum said ”why don’t you let some sun inside”said mum. Why don’t you open the present I got for you” For me” the boy said”. Then mum got a phone call.”Ring ring ring ring”sir i don’t no why you didn't get the papers ". The boy opened the unsealed  cardboard box. It was a puppy ”WHOA COOL!” but  the boy saw that the puppy only had three legs so he threw the small puppy away and said “GET LOST” “you gotta be kidding me” the boy said as he pushed the box off the table. The puppy saw a Rosie red ball under a draw in the living room. The puppy ran with little lightning speed  into the draw and bumped his head but then he went under the draw and grabbed the red shiny ball. The cute little puppy played with the ball and ran up to the boy. The puppy wanted to play a game with the boy.So the puppy ran up to the boy and put the ball down in front of him.The boy picked the red ball up with his little razzer teeth and put it in his pocket.so the got up the puppy saw that the boy only had one leg the puppy looked a bit confused as the boy picked up his crutches so the boy stood up and went outside to play the boy yelled out to his mum and said we’ll be outside so the boy and the puppy went outside and played fetch.
