SLJ Summer Learning Journey/ Treasure Map Code

Hello welcome back to my blog here is a treasure code I did for the SLJ. I learnt how to wright in a treasure code language thing. It was very fun I might try some again maybe. The most challenging thing was remembering the codes but instead i got a piece of paper and I was writing it down and then when i looked at it for a bit I got use to remembering them. Here is the one I did if you want to know how to do it I have put a video below.

  1. Hey Emily,

I’m Daniel from the SLJ Blog commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing blog posts and I hope you’re enjoying your summer.

Great work on the cipher task, this is a tricky one but after commenting on a few of these tasks I think I’m starting to recognize words like “this beach has” really quickly. I think I have your clue but there are lots of beaches like that so I have no idea sorry.

I’ll hit you back with one of my own. This is the name of my favourite beach.

    ⊐」୮」☐>」Γ

The first and third letters are supposed to have dots in them but I couldn’t find symbols that did that.

    Good work Emily, Merry Christmas,
See you later in the comments.

    Daniel

  2. Hello Emily.
THANK YOU so much for including the video.
I checked out someone else's post and they had done this task.I wasn't sure how I was meant to work out the answer-now I will be able too because of you.
Am I right in thinking it is New Brighton or is that a pier and not a bridge?.
I look forward to hearing from you.
